Event description

Join the NAWIC Otago Chapter and the Dunedin City Council (DCC) for a site tour of the new library and community hub currently under construction in the heart of South Dunedin!

This complex will feature a modern and accessible library, a DCC service centre, a range of bookable meeting rooms, a maker space, a recording studio, and an outdoor garden and seating area. It has been designed using Universal Design Principles to be fully accessible and meet a wide range of needs. It will include bike stands and charging stations for mobility scooters. Construction of the building started early 2024 and is scheduled to be completed mid-2025, so now is the perfect time to look around.

Please wear full PPE - site boots/shoes, hi vis, safety glasses and a hard hat. $5 for NAWIC members and $10 for non-member

For those that are interested, we will network over some nibbles at the Kensington after the site tour.
