NAWIC Otago - Te Rangihīroa Site Visit
Event description
Join us on a tour of the new Te Rangihīroa College that is under construction, followed by an optional debrief at Emersons.
This is the first purpose-built University-owned college in more than 50 years and is to meet a forecast rise in future demand. The college will include:
- 450-bedrooms (125 with en-suites)
- A dining hall and kitchen
- Multi-functional communal spaces
- Offices and a reception
- College staff accommodation
The building itself will be
- Six levels, including the ground floor
- Steel and concrete structure
- K-shaped, with four wings
- About 14,000m2
- New Zealand’s first Five-star Green Star-accredited residential college
DATE & TIME: Wednesday 21 June 2023 at 5pm
VENUE: Te Rangihīroa College Site - 15 Forth Street, Dunedin. Meet at the site entrance.
COST: FREE to all, this event is limited to 25 people so please book your space consciously. Anyone is welcome to join NAWIC here.
BRING: your PPE! Hard hat, Hi-vis, Steel capped boots, Glasses and Gloves
