Day One: Sat 31st Oct 2026 (8-12 noon NZ) Fri 30th Oct 2026 (7-11pm UK)
(1) Felicity Booth “The Lines of the Hand change over time”
There is no doubt that the lines on your hands will change during your life. Lines can grow or shrink, markings can develop or change and the total number of lines is very likely to increase over time. But what are the lines and why do they change? This talk explores the nature of the lines and some of the most common changes you will encounter. We will consider how these correlate with changes in psycho-emotional states, health and aging, and discuss some pointers that may help you and your clients work towards beneficial developments in your lines!
(2) Lawrence Rook “Exploring Client Experiences of Chirology: Findings from the First Qualitative Study” Lawrence has just recently completed his PhD research thesis on the impact on clients of having their hands read and the significance the experience had for them. This paper explores his findings. This is literally the very latest ‘Hot off the Press’ chirological research!
(3) Carolyne Taylor “The Psychology of Boundaries and how Boundary Issues can be seen in the Hands” What boundaries are and why they are important, especially in relationships. How lack of self-esteem, lack of self-awareness, childhood neglect and trauma can all cause weak boundaries. Including discussion of leaning fingers, a radial loop on the index finger, the short low-set little finger, the condition of the index finger and hyperflexibility in the thumb.

Day Two: Sun 1st Nov 2026 (8-12 noon NZ) Sat 31st Oct 2026 (7-11pm UK)
(1) Johnny Fincham “The Palmist’s Dilemma: How long have I got to live?!! Why time isn't Time and events are not Events” What do the lines show? Do they really show ‘events’ and things that happen to us? Do they show the past? Why can’t they show the future? The inimitable Mr Fincham explores these important themes to reveal what the lines of the hands do – and do not- show.
(2) Panel of Experts: Chirological Conundrums NEW FORMAT !
What signs in the hand cause you the most stress or confusion? What's the question you've always wanted to ask? What are your big chirological conundrums? What do you dread seeing? Whaddya wanna know? In this segment, we'll give you the opportunity to have an expert explore and explain your hand reading dilemma. It does not have to be on conference themes, it can be any question you like! If you are referencing a particular or unusual hand formation, please submit an illustration (in jpg format) of good quality showing your marking /feature /issue at least a week in advance of the conference. Please email this to the Conference Organiser at masterhandreader@gmail.com
(3) Christopher Jones “Vocational Indications in the Hands: Guiding your clients to the right Job” Christopher brings his many decades of chirological experience to outline the most salient features of the hands to consider when giving vocational guidance to your clients. Handshapes, Skin Texture, and the fingerprints are essential – but significant vocational clues can also be gleaned from the palmar dermatoglyphics, finger formations and even some of the lines of the hand.
