Skate of Mind - Skate Workshops

Whether you've never been on skateboard in your life, or you're a skater looking to meet new people. Skate of Mind is designed for skaters of all walks of life to meet at Wynyard Skate Park every Thursday after school at 3:30.

Meet with big hART's skate mentors Isaac and Lachlan who will share the benefits of skating and the positive elements of skate culture. Discuss tips and tricks, encourage each other, make new friends. 

 Skate of Mind will also feature workshops in videography, filming, and percussive sound creation using skateboards, this will culminate in a larger scale Skate based show in Ulverstone scheduled for June 2023. 





*** All ages and abilities welcome. Young people (ages 12-25) will be prioritised however due to limited availability.

*** In the event of wet weather, the Skate of Mind team will meet at the same date and time at the Watershed for alternative activities and skate videos.
