Learn to skateboard with Elissa Mah!

Learning to skate is a great way to develop confidence, balance, strength, and coordination.

In our first session, we'll cover the basics of weight distribution and foot positioning on your board for pushing, carving, stopping, and safety. You'll also learn a bit about the different parts of your board, and what features make different skateboards good for different types of skating.

In our second session, we'll recap and build on our skills from the previous week - learning how to push faster, and some fun basic tricks that can be developed into more complex moves or linked together.

Requirements: BYO skateboard. Wear helmets, knee pads and appropriate footwear (no jandals or crocs). Wrist guards highly recommended.

Dates: Friday 26 September and 3 October

Sessions:

2-3pm: Skateboarding Basics for 7-10 year olds

3.15-4.15pm: Skateboarding Basics 11+ year olds

$20 per child
