Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival 2026

The Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival 2026 2–4 October 2026. A ticket for one child is free with every ticket for an adult - a child is any person 16 years of age or under. Each child must be supervised by the adult who bought the ticket.

We are in Castlecove and Caherdaniel on Friday with a drowned forest event in Castlecove in the afternoon and Rock Art by Night! with Aldo Jordan, the Irish School of Shamanic Studies, who considers the intentionality behind the enigmatic symbols in prehistoric rock art.

Tech Amergin in Waterville is our hub for the Saturday with an evening of Bronze Casting and music, fire performance and astronomy. On Sunday we visit Eightercua Stone Row and a Copper Mine.

We are collaborating with the Mantle Project in Glenbeigh for the Mesollithic event at Rossbeigh Beach on Saturday 3 October 2-3.30pm - all welcome. We are also collaborating with Dinnseanchas whose series of events will take place the same week and are coordinating our events. Please see schedule below. The Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival weekend ticket covers access to all events organized solely by us. Many of the Dinnseanchas events are free but registration may be required or in some cases a ticket must be purchased - more info on the Dinnseanchas website
