Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival 2026

The Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival 2026 takes place 2–4 October. We are in Castlecove and Caherdaniel on Friday with a drowned forest event and Rock Art by Night! Tech Amergin in Waterville is our hub for the Saturday with an evening of Bronze Casting and music, fire performance and astronomy. On Sunday we visit Eightercua Stone Row and a Copper Mine. We are collaborating with the Mantle Project in Glenbeigh for the Mesollithic event at Rossbeigh Beach on Saturday 3 October 2-3.30pm - all welcome. We are also collaborating iwth Dinnseanchas whose series of events will take place the same week and are coordinating our events. Please see schedule of events. The Skellig Coast Archaeology Festival weekend ticket covers access to all events organized solely by us. Many of the Dinnseanchas events are free but registration may be required or in some cases a ticket must be purchased - more info on the Dinnseanchas website
