Steve Wiggers is the Managing Director of SCALA, a training and consulting firm he founded in 2010 after an extensive career in hospitality management and consulting across Australia and Canada. Steve has recently been awarded Tasmania’s Trainer of the year for 2025 and will compete in the Australian finals in Darwin later this year. Under his guidance, SCALA has also earned recognition as Tasmania's Training Provider of the Year and an Employer of Choice, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence and a positive workplace culture.

Steve is passionate about remaining relative in the world today and has therefore taken it upon himself to become well versed in all things AI. Helping bring awareness to this new technology and bringing other Tasmanian’s on the journey so we do not get left behind.
