Emotional Intelligence is regularly named as a key skill for the future, but often as part of a vague list of 'soft skills', without a clear definition or an explanation of how it can be developed and implemented. While EQ is valuable in a range of contexts from leadership to personal development, we're most interested in how emotional skills can make you a better innovator.

In this SkillGym workout, we'll explore the key domains of emotional intelligence, and map how they apply to both individual and collaborative innovation processes. From genuinely empathising with your users to letting go of your first idea to giving considerate and helpful feedback, you'll learn why this skill set is crucial for innovation leaders.
