Slanted’s Birthday Bash: The Terrible Twos

Join us as we celebrate Slanted's 2nd birthday with hot pot, a buffet, and mud cakes... just kidding! We're bringing you a spread of works in progress. There is no better way to celebrate a birthday than a bunch of performances and readings, right? Is it obvious we're theatre nerds?

Slanted Theatre began in an apartment for a first rehearsal on 6 November 2020. Since then, we have worked with 85 Asian Australian emerging theatre-makers to deliver Ching Chong Chinaman, Three Fat Virgins Unassembled with KXT bAKEHOUSE, Lady Precious Stream with The Flying Nun at Brand X and most recently, Chain Play as part of Sydney Fringe. 

We are presenting new works and excerpts featuring directors, writers, actors, and designers from our ever-growing community.
