Why Ukraine?

In 2014 I met Oksana Piddubna who is from Ukraine. Oksy, as I now know her, became a very dear friend and I was lucky enough to visit her in Kyiv and experience the generosity and hospitality of the Ukrainian people. When the war broke out, Oksy fled Ukraine for Germany, where she was coordinating efforts to support her people. This event is for Oksy, and the millions of Ukrainians like her who have been impacted by the atrocities of the war.
