Don't just blame me. Love me.

Slippery is back in Magandjin for Melt 2024! Fresh from tour to Midsumma Festival and Adelaide Fringe 2024, this smash hit indie theatre sensation is ready to return to its home town for a night of weird LGBTQIA+y cursed theatre! Let's freak out inside and head on outside to a night of big laughs and small strange tears!

A polyamorous threesome née foursome descends into madness and accusation when the ghost of their fourth lover returns to haunt them – forever!

Who amongst them has committed this terrible crime?! The mansion is boarded shut; the endlessly raining world outside is innocent; it has certainly come from within… Will Moon Junes, Silly Goose and Puke ever discover the truth of who killed Fredenharry?

Get ready and dead-y for the most clueless, co-dependent, blame-game murder mystery to ever be born in QLD!

Betrayal, ecstasy, plague, flood and war – this is four-way love and death… this is Slippery!

“Electric... ★★★★” - ArtsHub

“Embodies what independent theatre is all about – unapologetic rage, unapologetic joy, and an unapologetic sense of fun.” – Nothing Ever Happens in Brisbane

“Never a dull moment... sensationally absurd, and highly recommended” – Theatre Haus

Slippery will be on from November 6-10 at VENTspace in South Brisbane for Melt Festival 2024. Do not miss your chance with this rare chaotic gem - book tickets now!

**If you are unable to afford either of the set ticket prices, please do not hesitate to get in touch - no one turned away for lack of funds.

THIS EVENT IS ON STOLEN ABORIGINAL LAND! SOVEREIGNTY WAS NEVER CEDED!

We pay our respects to the Jagera and Turrbal people, and their elders past and present. We stand in solidarity with all First Nations peoples in the fight against the colony.
