Let’s spelunk! Come out into the field to explore Joshua Tree National Park’s Slot Canyons. The class encompasses both the wide variety of life found in these specialized ecosystems and the basics of safe caving.
This class delves into the famous Hall of Horrors in Joshua Tree National Park.
Anyone may attend! No caving experience is required. We recommend that participants have comfortability with rock scrambling.
Entry to Joshua Tree National Park is included in the cost of enrollment.
No meals or equipment are provided.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Carpooling is encouraged.
Activity level: This class is moderate. It requires less than 2 miles of walking, limited shade, uneven terrain, and little elevation gain.
This specialized class requires some rock scrambling and may involve passing through close spaces.

Water
Salty snacks
Hat
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Daypack to carry your items
Proper clothing attire and closed-toe shoes
