Event description

Celebrate Fig Season at Slow Food South Australia's ever-popular biennial, Long Table Fignic with Willabrand in the beautiful grounds of historic Glen Ewin Estate on Saturday 22nd March 2025. Willabrand Australia is a multi-award winning, family owned SA business. With almost 12,000 trees and five main fig varieties in their orchard, Willa Wauchope and his team practise organic and preservative free management, embracing the Slow Food ethos of Good, Clean, and Fair. Willa's passion for figs is legendary and he is the driving force behind the innovative expansion of their fig product lines.

On the day, guests will enjoy a Fig Gin Spritz welcome drink, producer talk and a 3-course shared lunch prepared by Glen Ewin Estate chefs and served in the leafy orchard, followed by optional fig picking. Additional drinks will be available for purchase at the Fig Bar, with complimentary Fig cordial on hand. We would love for you to take this opportunity to join Slow Food committee members and friends at our first shared table producer lunch/talk for 2025.

Slow Food member ticket: $75 per person / Non-member ticket $95 per person
