Slow Food Festival Mundaring Inaugural Dinner
Description
An evening of good, clean and fair food in the Perth Hills.
To open Slow Food Festival Mundaring: Food, Wine & Spirits 2026, we invite you to join us for an intimate seven-course collaborative dinner at the Hub of the Hills in Mundaring.
Bringing together a distinctive group of Western Australian chefs, food makers and producers, the evening will celebrate local produce, native ingredients, regional flavours and the stories connecting food to place.
The dinner will take guests on a journey from local bread and grass-finished beef through Thai flavours, seasonal and regeneratively grown produce, Australian native ingredients and contemporary techniques, before finishing with dessert and a cheese course.
This is more than a dinner. It is an opportunity to meet the people behind the food, discover where ingredients come from and experience the Slow Food philosophy of Good, Clean and Fair around one shared table.

Food, place & story
“This dinner is about discovering where our food comes from, grown or prepared, and why that matters. Each course has a person, a place and a story behind it, and together will show what good, clean and fair food from the Perth Hills can taste like.”
