Slow Food Scone Making Masterclass & Afternoon Tea
Event description
Join Slow Food South Australia in collaboration with the South Australian Country Women's Association and Liz Harfull, best-selling author and Slow Food member.
The Stirling and Districts branch together with the Uraidla and Districts branch of the SA Country Women's Association (SACWA) are delighted to collaborate on an afternoon of demystifying scone making with a hands on, aprons on masterclass.
You will be greeted with a welcome drink and the SACWA will present a variety of scones for tasting to showcase their versatility with home made preserves and items for sale at their trading table.
An introduction and history of the CWA will be given by Liz Harfull, author, podcaster and community historian.
Following the demonstration, guests will be seated for a traditional CWA afternoon tea prepared by members of the two branches. Tea, coffee and a glass of local wine will be served.
Slow Food South Australia's Rosa Matto and committee members look forward to seeing you at this afternoon of scone making and conviviality.
Please bring your own apron OR add a Slow Food SA apron to your ticket purchase.
