Slow Food South Australia with Gina Dal Santo
Event description
“Slow Food envisions a world where all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it and good for the planet.”
Slow Food is a non-profit foundation started in Italy in 1989 to counteract the disappearance of local food traditions and the spread of fast-food culture. Since then, Slow Food has grown to become a global movement which has networks in over 160 countries around the world and works together so that all people can have access to good, clean, and fair food.
Food educator, Gina, will teach you about the history of the Slow Food movement, how to embrace slow food into your lifestyle, and share some recipes to help you appreciate local.
