For our next upcoming event, Jono Hermann will be speaking of the nature of small business and the digital economy.
Our economy in Australia has many facets, many of which are dependant on telecommunications and other information systems. Jono Hermann will discuss this topic in more depth for a better understanding of how your small business is placed in the digital economy!
Speaker Details
Jono Hermann is a Devotee of the Australian start-up & innovation scene, especially supporting efforts to network members of this ecosystem on Sydney's north shore.
His key current role is Chair at the North Sydney Innovation Network, but he is also passionate about family office issues (family dynamics, philanthropy and the move by younger generations into higher risk assets). Aside from direct investments in Sydney start-ups and Sydney-based VC, he also invests in Israel and support efforts to engender closer ties between the tech (investment) communities of AU & IL.
Jono's early career was as an Engineer in telecommunications, diversifying via an MBA into a variety of roles: HR + M&A roles at Telstra, family branch representative in corporate sale of family business, running a coworking space and is now involved in all things digital economy and ‘impact tech’.
