Small Business Month Trade Workshop
October is NSW Small Business Month! Take the opportunity to work on and strengthen your small business this month with a range of workshops, training programs and seminars to choose from.
Tweed Tourism is presenting a workshop around the category theme of "My Small Business Trade". Following on from our successful "Trade Ready" workshop earlier this year, this workshop will delve deeper into packaging and promotion as well as learn how to leverage the exciting opportunity of targeting new regional markets with the launch of Bonza Airlines flying into Gold Coast Airport from mid-November.
In this workshop, we will discuss the latest updates in online trade & distribution, how to grow your business, target new markets and attract domestic and international visitors to The Tweed. You'll hear from experts in the field including:
Expert Speaker Line Up:
* Tweed Tourism, Danielle Andreuzzi- an overview of the markets, trends, working with agents etc
* Bonza Airlines, Dennis Basham - opportunities with Bonza
* Hotelbeds, Chelsea Reidy - leveraging this online platform
* Case Study - Tropical Fruit World, Aymon Gow and Shona Fuller
We'll then break into "speed dating" style networking, where you'll have the chance to find complimentary businesses and discuss partnership and packaging opportunities.
Bring your KeepCup and arrive early at 8.30am to enjoy an espresso from the coffee cart before we start promptly at 9am. A light morning tea will be served.

Is your business "trade ready"? Trade-ready means that a tourism business is selling their tourism experience through third party distribution sales channels to reach even more visitors.
In preparation for this workshop, we suggest you read these guides by Destination NSW - Sell Your Business Online and Inbound Tourism Guide to get a strong understanding of trade and distribution in the tourism industry.
