Balingup Small Farm Experience 2021 - Farm Visit - Self Drive (approx 2.5km from The Village Green)

“Chantecler” is a 100 acre property that was built up from pasture land over the past 18 years.

During the visit we will describe:

Setting up required infrastructure for farm and lifestyle
Planting a vineyard and associated small-scale winemaking to produce some high quality wines. The methods used will be shown and a few wines will be available for tasting.
Agistment of sheep and measures to breed a better dual-purpose sheep for wool and meat with better productive efficiency.
Methodologies used to maintain a safe and productive property from invasive weeds, pests and bushfires.

Please note farm visits include walking on steps, uneven ground and around worksites.
