Event description

Small Farms Success – The Food Farm in partnership with Young Farmers Connect, the NSW Soil Knowledge Network and the Young Farmers Business Program

Date: Wednesday May 25th, 9am to 3.00pm including morning tea and lunch

Cost: Free for YFC Members and $25 (Non-YFC members) including lunch

Join us for the upcoming Young Farmers Connect field day on the NSW Central Coast. This event is for YFC Members and non-members alike - all welcome!

Tim & Hannah are first generation farmers at The Food Farm. Operating from their network of leased farms on the beautiful NSW Central Coast just one hour north of Sydney, they follow regenerative methods to produce 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and pasture-raised organic chicken and eggs.

The NSW Soil Knowledge Network Inc. is a group of retired and semi-retired soil specialists who are passionate about soil and the land.  They are an independent, not-for-profit group, which captures critical soil knowledge and experience. We are excited to welcome members of the NSW SKN as our mentors and trainers for the workshop. We will learn about available soils mapping, have the opportunity to explore soil pits, gain insights into the interpretation of soil tests and discuss considerations for farm management.

Thanks to the support of the Young Farmer Business Program, join us as we connect and continue to build and strengthen our community of farmers, supporters, and consumers.
Hope to see you there!
