Live in an apartment, townhouse or simply short on outdoor space? Discover how easy it can be to compost at home with systems designed for compact living. Join Scott Hitchins, sustainable gardening expert, for a practical workshop to learn how to transform everyday food waste into nutrient‑rich goodness for your plants.

Learn about different compact compost systems, including bokashi composting and worm‑farming. Find out how to set them up, maintain them and choose the right method for your home.

Participants will receive a sample of compost activator to take home (please bring a clean jar or reusable container with you).

What you’ll learn:

How to turn food waste into nutrient‑rich compost in small or indoor spaces
The differences between bokashi, worm farms and compost systems — and which one suits your home
What can and cannot go into each system
Tips to keep your composting setup simple, low‑mess and thriving
How to compost safely, ergonomically and successfully in courtyards, balconies or even laundries

Perfect for anyone looking to reduce waste, nourish their plants and make sustainable living easy, even in the smallest of spaces.
