Event description

HOW HEALTHY IS YOUR BUSINESS?

1 in 3 businesses fail in the first 3 years of starting up. We have probably all heard that statistic before. But have you ever wondered why? Is it the economic environment, the Government regulation, the market is too competitive? We all generally think of these external factors that impact organisations. But what about the internal factors? The stuff going on inside the business. The decisions of the leadership teams and the staff that affect the outcomes on a day to day basis. That’s what we are going to talk about at this months business networking lunch.

Over a delicious lunch you will hear from 2 expert speakers in their fields.

Virtual CFO and strategic business advisor, Sarah Reimann and Bram Lagrou, communication and sales expert

Sarah - Top tips on planning ahead and having a realistic strategy in your organisation:

Having a successful organisation that is growing demands a robust strategy. We need to be able to define clear business objectives, allocate resources effectively, and adapt to changing market dynamics. We need to encourage innovation amongst our team, confidently share the vision regularly and know where we are headed if we want to achieve long-term success. It can seem overwhelming to get all the stuff done on a daily basis in our organisation, as well as think about big picture strategy. But if we get clarity on a few key things in our business, it won’t seem as bad.

BramHow to communicate for positive outcomes and feel terrific:

Communication is like technology; it’s great when it works. Too often though, whether at home or at work, we deal with ‘cracks’ in the system. Think about conflict and hard conversations. It can also mean a couple not getting along on a particular matter. Overall, we experience certain people as being “difficult”… This short presentation is about the #1 tool to overcome these challenges and reach a positive outcome for everyone while feeling good in the process.

Join Sarah and 20+ other local Adelaide business owners in an intimate setting, with plenty of time for networking and making new connections, business relationships and collaborations with purpose. Empowering Success events are all about Training authentic business leaders, to challenge mediocrity & create meaningful impact.
