SMART STEM Club - Term 2 2025
Event description
Is your child fascinated by physics or curious about chemistry? Perhaps they think earth science is awesome or biology is brilliant. Our STEM Club: Super Science program is just for them!
Over five weeks, student will explore four key sciences with hands-on activities and experiments:
🧪 Week 1 - Curious Chemistry
🚀 Week 2 - Fascinating Physics
🌱 Week 3 - Brilliant Biology
🌋 Week 4 - Awesome Earth Science
👩🔬 Week 5 - Choose-your-own super science adventure
There will be plenty of time for open-ended exploration and creativity each week, so your child can work at their own pace with support from our expert educators. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss this opportunity to ignite your child’s passion for science!

Host: The University of Newcastle's SMART Program
When: 5 consecutive Tuesday afternoons (weeks 1-5 of Term 2), with drop-off from 4:15pm:
Tuesday 29 April, 2025 | 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Tuesday 6 May, 2025 | 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Tuesday 13 May, 2025 | 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Tuesday 20 May, 2025 | 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Tuesday 27 May, 2025 | 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Please note, for student attending Public Schools, the first session occurs on a student-free day
Who: Primary school students in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6
Location: Callaghan Campus, University of Newcastle, NSW Australia (Building location to be advised prior to commencement)
Cost: $150 per student (incl. GST) for the 5 sessions
Payment: Online via Humanitix only.

Enrolments
- Limited to 20 students, based on order of registration via Humanitix. A waitlist will be created when all tickets are sold.
- Restricted to primary school or registered homeschool students currently enrolled in Years 3, 4, 5, or 6.
- Families enrolling 2 or more students are invited to use the discount code FAMILY#25 at checkout and will receive a $25 discount
