Event Description:
Join this workshop, hosted by Greater Sydney Local Land Services and facilitated by Kim Deans from Reinventing Agriculture, to gain practical tools and a fresh approach to managing weeds. The session focuses on soil health and offers strategies for dealing with thistles, fireweed, or pasture decline.

You will learn about:

  • Weeds as ecological indicators.

  • The relationship between soil health and weed presence.

  • Preventing weed infestations.

  • Options for managing weeds.

  • The benefits of a holistic approach to weed management.

  • Developing a holistic weed plan.

  • Weed monitoring tips and procedures.

Drawing on leading regenerative principles and research, this evidence-based workshop is designed for small to medium-sized farms and includes a practical paddock weed walk and talk.
