Event description
‘Smoko Season’ refers to that long-awaited break time in which us industry folk get to take a backseat for that joyous n’ nippy part of the year. Oh.. you’re still editing? Nevermind 😏
Look, I think it’s time. This masterclutz of a class is a bloody intensive and practical probing. We’re going in on a one day bender inside Collingwood House.. in Collingwood, duh.
Jamsheed Wines will keep us tipsy, and Mile End Bagels as well as Free to Feed will keep us bloated (dietaries collected, not to worry).
Instead of tote bags and fridge magnets, you’ll walk out as one eager beaver, ready to flip the lid on this industry. I’m bloody here for ya. I am doing this to ramp up your confidence going into the next season 🤘🏻
The entrée:
- The secret sauce to a captivating and informative PDF price guide
- Jacko’s abundance of plugin hacks (for websites, desktop AND for Lightroom)
- Lock and load couples who appreciate you, via. what you share through imagery, and language.
Main course:
- How I capture what I capture, via. a live shoot.
- Re-defining the ‘getting ready’ stage, and what to ask inside questionnaires relating to wedding timelines.
- A deep dive into how I edit what I photograph, and assemble it strategically for that bloody attention thief (AKA Instagram *cough*). PLSSS BRING YOUR LAPTOPS.
Dessert? Plenty, and all hella useful:
- Bringing colour into the speeches and the d-floor (without lugging round a trolley of equipment), along with my multiple hacks for flash!
- Let’s talk email lingo and communication upkeep, from the initial enquiry through to ticking that ‘Job complete’ box.
- Cheeky Q n' A, then prezzie time! 🎁
A more detailed itinerary can be found on the website 🫶
This is for the newbies as much as it’s for the veterans. The makers AND the takers. This workshop is for those curious to shift into more deliberate gears, both online AND off. These agendas are what form my point of difference, and I’m gonna pour it all out on the table this time.
I was invited to speak at the Way Up North conference in Florence this year (see here!) I challenged assumptions about our industry, gave the finger to ‘consistency’ and spoke with unfiltered honesty. How the Europeans understood my bogan lingo I have no clue.. but the feedback from the audience lit a fire under my ass, and reminded me that everybody has something unique to share.
This is ‘Smoko Season’, with prezzies and prizes from Godox, PicTime and Backblaze.
Please email me if you work as a duo and would both like to attend 🙂
