Snake Awareness
Event description
As we enter snake season, please join us for a Snake Awareness event at the Hills Environment Centre with Geoff Coombe, from Living with Wildlife - Geoff Coombe OAM
Geoff is one of Australia’s leading authorities on venomous snakes. An interest in the natural environment and wildlife which started when he was a boy, has been a lifelong passion. Geoff has been teaching people about venomous snakes since 1971.
Geoff will bring a live venomous snake and provide demonstrations. You will learn about snakes in our local area, snake behavior, snake hazards and snake bite first aid.
Minimum age 10 years
Review: ""The presenters always had our safety in mind. This was the most amazing course I have ever attended. I have a greater respect for snakes. The course was also fantastic for my personal development as I successfully achieved things that initially scared me".
