About Geoff Coombe OAM
Geoff Coombe, recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2023, is an expert in snake awareness and first aid. He has been involved with reptiles for many decades and has trained people across Australia and New Zealand in snake handling and safety. As the founder of Living with Wildlife, Geoff has educated thousands of people on safely coexisting with snakes, particularly in urban, rural, and remote environments. He is known for breaking down myths and misconceptions about snakes, helping people respect rather than fear these animals.
