The roads are closed, school is canceled, it's a snow day. Chuck on your most weather resistant clothes and settle in for a program of icy films from the North to turn a hot summer’s evening at Library Portal into a winter wonderland.

really really limited tickets on the door (maybe 5), more door spots available from 11pm, once the initial films are finished and live tunes and misc activities begin! Just rock up after 11pm (quietly so not to disturb the neighbours) and we'll sort you out with a $10 late night tickie <3

8:00pm doors | Films from 8:30pm

Followed by music/readings/crafts + more 10:00pm - 3:00am

(including a special pre + post film improvised music performance by Portal’s fearless leader, Jac)

A reflection on the season with a collection of short essays and entries from our community curators, posters, visuals, bound into an art book by the legends at Glom Press.

$20 with a ticket or $25 on the night

Tickets are sliding scale, but here are some suggestions

$25 | covers costs, plus help Library Portal pay rent and contribute to producing the journal

Proceeds raised will help with the printing of the S.1 Journal with all remaining funds returning to Library Portal to keep the lights on and the books well fed.

When you arrive and leave Portal please keep nice an quiet for the nuns and friends. There will be a dedicated smokers, please follow the signs and respect the neighbours. xoxo
