Beloved Melbourne group Snowy Band are back with their new album, Age Difference. Performing in NSW for the very first time - playing the new record and fresh interpretations of Snowy's back catalogue - the band are joined on the night by local favourites Classic and Solo Career. 

On their recordings, the band amble through big themes like religiosity, existentialism, fear of regret, time and love - but all find a triviality in the intensity. 

Live, the band are known for teasing out thst intensity from a repeated musical motif or single repeated note, stretching the simplest parts of their music to breaking point. Thematically, these ideas pervade Snowy’s songwriting which continues into the project’s third album, out through Blossom Rot Records.

Snowy Band is the project of Melbourne-based, Wagga Wagga-born musician Liam “Snowy” Halliwell (The Ocean Party, Popfilter, Good Morning) formed with bandmates and familiar faces Nat Pavlovic (Dianas, Jen Cloher), Emma Russack and Dylan Young (Way Dynamic). This is the first offering since 2021’s Alternate Endings: writing for the new album began in the immediate aftermath, but it's a departure from the first two records stylistically and thematically, a continuation but existing in an alternate timeline.
