Save the Snowy Rail Bridge Association is a community based not for profit group, that formed in 2018 to advocate for the restoration of the historic Snowy Rail Bridge as a walking and cycling trail.

In 2020 we received state government funding for Stage 1 of the Bridge restoration, enabling stabilisation and most repairs to the sagging substructure, and new decking at either end to allow partial access to visitors to the Bridge itself.

Separate Federal funding enabled the association to create an entry feature, extensive interpretive information, carparks and the Underbridge Walk that forms part of the site for our 2025 Snowy Steampunk Soiree.

While now seeking funding for Stage 2 to complete new decking across the entire bridge, and further repair and restore the substructure we are thrilled to be able to invite people to come and enjoy this remarkable structure and it's surrounds.
