Council is excited to be partnering with Training Services NSW to promote and support employment and career opportunities for Youth in the Snowy Valleys region.
We would like to invite you to attend an Employer Information Session to see how your business can attract students to jobs available in your work place including apprenticeships, traineeships and school based apprenticeships. You will be provided with information about current programs and information on financial incentives for employing our young people. This event will give employers the opportunity to ask questions, seek further information as well as providing an opportunity to register your business to participate in programs for students. We would also encourage your ideas and suggestions on the delivery of programs for youth in the Snowy Valleys community.
As part of this collaboration we are planning to deliver a Careers Expo early in term 1 of 2022. The Expo is designed to connect local business, Industry, school leaders and the community, to provide Youth in the region, with information regarding employment opportunities and careers available to them during high school through School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships and employment options after high school.
This is an opportunity for all of us to come together for Our Children and Their Future!
