Description
So What Humans is a new social enterprise. We are all about building intergenerational connection and supporting mums and young adults in finding their tribe. You'll meet your peers, participate in novel games and build a whole lot of good will.
We know how disrupted and fast paced our lives are these days due to the perpetual scroll of unethical tech, challenges to mid life women and Gen Z. Sometimes making friends and even spending quality time can be hard.
This is an opportunity for mums and their young adults to take part in cultivating togetherness and building new connections, in a gorgeous urban oasis.
You will meet new peers:
young adult to young adult
mum to mum
and most importantly explore new possibilities of connection for mum and child.
We'll curate dishes to share and you will be provided with one non-alcoholic drink.
This is about people, planet, building genuine community, boosting wellbeing and dissolving loneliness.
Thank you to Camperdown Commons for hosting us and supporting new social enterprise with good intentions for people and planet. It really is community in action within an urban oasis in the city. So cool to also be surrounded by a working urban farm - it's breathtaking!

FAQs
- What is So What Humans ?
So What Humans is a social enterprise that is bridging the gap of intergenerational connection that is widening due to overuse of tech, living in uncertain times, disconnection, mid life and Gen Z difficulties, isolation and loneliness. We want to champion wellbeing and new opportunities that build community, offers solutions and brings genuine connection to our members.
- What if I don't have a mum to come to the event with?
You are welcome to bring a maternal figure to the event that genuinely looks after or looks out for you in life.
- What if I don't have a young adult child (16-24)
The experience is designed for this age range (16-24) as the age gap between younger or older people might be too great to feel like peers.
We don't accept solo participants as numbers would not be even and would disrupt the flow of teaming up.
- What does my ticket include?
The 2 hour experience that is expertly curated and hosted
Shared plates for an early light meal
One non alcoholic beverage
- Can I bring multiple young adults kids as one mum?
We ask that you book for one plus one. (2 tickets) That is one mum figure and one young adult child to maximise the experience. Keep an eye out for more opportunities in future. But by all means invite your friends, family and colleagues to book with their adult child or mum if you think they will benefit from the experience too.
- What if I am running late?
The event commences at 5.00pm. It is a 2 hour window and a special opportunity for connection so please allow travel time to be here for a solid start!
- What if i can no longer attend?
You may substitute your tickets x 2 to another mother and young adult with 24 hour notice, just let us know. We don't offer refunds at this time.
- What about the dads?
We know that mothering is an unique life experience and the connection happens from the moment of conception. We grew a human! This experience helps mid life women share stories, connect and collaborate. We look to build special events in the future for all parents so keep a look out for that as we scale.
