Soap No. 11 — Cut & Paste
Description
SOAP No. 11 is a relaxed, hands-on creative workshop for anyone who wants to slow down, make something with their hands and reconnect with their creative side.
Hosted by Elke Gill (illustrator, designer and Creative Director at Eddie), this play-based session invites you to design your own postcard using collage, found imagery and words.
The theme is “Wish you were here” - however you take that.
It might be a real place you love.
An imagined destination.
A moment in your creative life.
Or somewhere you wish your work or your life was heading.
You’ll be guided through a simple, low-pressure process of browsing materials, building your composition and creating a finished postcard to take home.
You’re also invited to write and send your postcard to someone you care about, or to yourself.
For a gold coin donation, we can post your postcard for you after the session.
No creative experience is needed. This is about play, reflection and connection not perfection.
You’re welcome to bring your own materials if you’d like.
We’ll also provide a curated selection of magazines, cut-outs and collage materials for everyone to use on the night.
BYO Snacks and Drinks!
