These intimate events are designed to help you connect with others in the sober space who are looking to make new friends. For this first workshop, I’m limiting tickets to keep the group small, cozy and so everyone feels included. You’ll have a designated spot to sit, and an activity infront of you, making it easy to connect and socialise.

In this first workshop, we'll be sipping non-alcoholic drinks and candle making! Hosted at Sydney Creative's newest location, only a 5 minute walk from Redfern train station.

Perfect for beginners, we'll be making a luxury double-wicked, extra large candle. Designed to illuminate your space with a burn time of approximately 50 hours and a fragrance that's uniquely yours. It's also the perfect little Christmas gift.

In this two-hour session, we'll be guided through:

Jar & Lid Selection: Mix and match your favourite colours.
Vessel Preparation: Learn to prepare your glass vessel for the wax.
Wick Mastery: Discover the importance of choosing and securing the correct wick size for an even, perfect burn.
Wax Selection: Discover why we love Cocosoy wax.
Scent Creation: Blend your own fragrance oils under expert guidance to create a signature scent that delights.
Understanding Throws: Gain insight into achieving the perfect cold and hot throw for maximum scent release.
Pouring Technique: Candle making is a science, learn how to prepare your jar for the wax, when to mix in the fragrance, and how to monitor the temperatures.
Troubleshooting Tips: Equip yourself with the know-how to navigate common candle-making challenges

We'll have some time at the end to mingle and answer our conversation prompts, as well as a goodie bag to take home ☺️
