Beats From The Soul - Workshop for Children with Additional Needs
Event description
A fun, social, inclusive environment, where children can freely express themselves through drumming, dancing, rhythm, games and creative movement. It is an ideal space for carers to bring children and support them during the activities and for children to connect with their peers.
Activities and games will help to build confidence, self esteem, sense of self, teamwork, self-regulation and problem solving. They will support children in connecting to themselves and others in a safe, supported learning environment.
This workshop is specifically designed for children with additional needs and their carers & parents but we welcome anyone who loves to drum, dance and have fun. Children are encouraged to bring along their AAC device or PODD book if they have one.
I bring a drum for each child, percussion instruments, music, creative movement props and lots of fun.
