Event description

Come and explore your creativity and join us by grounding into some clay work whilst spending time connecting with like minded folk @ 'The Station' Glen Eden Estate.

This is an engaging introductory social workshop for you to experience working with high quality clay.

During this workshop you will learn the essentials of pinching, slab work, shaping and joining clay as well as adding textures or prints to your unique design.

This is a truly immersive experience where your imagination can run wild. Your clay may become a bowl, planter, mug, plate, or something else. This workshop will teach you how to make a masterpiece from scratch!

What will your piece look like? It will be a 'perfectly imperfect' piece handmade by you!

What to bring:
Please bring along water, your favorite beverage and most importantly your creative vibes!!! You are welcome to bring food/platter - it can be eaten by the fire away from our clay creations.

Age: Adults, teens & children over 8 years old.

Parking: The Station Glen Eden - second driveway - NOT the main entry!

Class duration: 2.5 hours

Attendees required: minimum of 6 and maximum of 16

Time frame from collection: 4-6 weeks

Once you piece is hand built, the piece will need to dry for a week, have a bisque firing, it will be glazed in white glaze, then fired again. Your piece will be ready for collection in approx 4 weeks time (postage is an additional charge).
