Join CERES as we take a tour of 2 local innovative Melbourne Social Enterprises, SisterWorks and Fitted For Work
During this tour you will be introduced to the how and why of running a social enterprise and different social enterprise models, and you will learn about the positive social impacts that our 2 featured enterprises have had through empowering refugee and migrant women and women experiencing disadvantage. Your day will finish with some well earned retail therapy at Fitted For Work's very own sustainable fashion outlet The Conscious Closet, with drinks and a $30 shopping voucher included!
Time: 1pm - 5pm
Cost: $100 (includes $30 voucher for The Conscious Closet)
Schedule:
1.00pm - 2.30pm: SisterWorks Empowerment Hub, Abbotsford
- Introduction of SisterWorks
- Tour of SisterWorks
- Production tour and Q&A
2.30pm - 3.00pm: Travel time between SisterWorks and Fitted For Work - approx 12 mins by bike or 8 mins by car (see map for directions HERE)
3.00pm - 5.00pm: Fitted For Work, Richmond
- Fitted For Work presentation and information on their service model and 2 social enterprise models
- Fitted For Work Tour
- Shopping & drinks in their social enterprise “The Conscious Closet”
