Fishburners is thrilled to announce that pitch nights are back in action every fortnight, with the option of attending in person (social distancing measures will be in place) or virtually via our live-stream channel.

On Friday the 3rd July, we will be showcasing startups working to combat very real issues within society and make the world a better place. We have 140 physical tickets up for grabs below - otherwise, register for a free virtual ticket and attend via the Fishburners live-stream (the link will be included on your ticket).

Please note that networking begins at 5pm, and the pitches themselves kick off at 5.30pm (for those streaming in virtually).

We already have one social enterprise startup locked in: One Another Community, a startup born out of a COVID-19 age, but with a long term solution to amplify the ripple effect of kindness across the globe - by enabling members of local communities to offer and receive help from One Another.

For those of you who have never attended a Friday Pitch Night, here's a bit of context. Every Friday night from 5pm (except for the final Friday of the month), Fishburners opens its doors to host Shark Tank-style, Friday Night Pitches. We are a non for profit community of entrepreneurs that is dedicated to growing tech startups - and this is Australia's largest, most regular event in the ecosystem.

Our $10 entry price is directed back into the Fishburners community and covers your pizza, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages for the evening. The ticket booking fee will also be put toward Room to Read, which is a leading non-profit focused on girls' education and children's literacy in Asia and Africa.

If you're looking for inspiration to start a business, are keen to learn some pitch tips, or just want to find out what startups are new in Sydney, this is for you. It's a great event for current entrepreneurs or anyone interested in entrepreneurship but not sure where to start.

The event schedule for Friday Night Pitches is as follows:

• 7PM: Event concludes
