Social Impact Showcase Potluck
Event description
Are you keen to connect with others, learn from one another about other projects happening in the space, and have generative conversations about how we can improve connection and collaboration amongst players in social impact for the benefit of all?
We invite you to join us for an informal social impact potluck afternoon tea - bring along a plate of food to share and your open and curious mindset and get ready to throw your figurative social impact keys into the bowl at this house party.
What you can expect:
- There will be around three stations, each showcasing an interesting and inspiring project for us to learn about.
- At the end of the rotation, other people will have the chance to share what they have been working on.
- There will be food, and some drinks, and plenty of opportunity to chat and meet the others.
- We will be taking suggestions for ideas to continue the series of showcases or any other suggested next steps.
The showcase is held at a private house with limited space (especially if the weather is bad) and a total capacity of 40 people. We do have an active waitlist so if you are unable to make it, please change your registration so we can offer the place to someone else.
This event is the brainchild of a number of different networks coming together to connect. These include social-impacty peeps from Alumni for Social Impact, and the Social Design Meetup Network. If you know of any others that should be included in future events, let us know. Email us here: alumniforsocialimpact@gmail.com.
