Social Innovation Precinct: Trader Engagement Workshop

Calling all hospitality Traders working in and around RMIT- we want you to join our circular economy workshop!

• What is it?  A participatory workshop with local hospitality traders. The session will be a space where you can learn about the circular economy (CE) and explore ways a transition can support your business.  The CE Trader Engagement Workshop is a one-off event at the RMIT Social Innovation Hub in Carlton, and is linked to the Waste Management Survey you may have completed. 
  
• Why should I attend? The CE Trader Engagement Workshop will bring local Traders together to learn about what the circular economy is, what it offers for the hospitality sector, and what a circular transition might look like for your business. We want to understand your current practice, aspirations, and pain points. Together we will explore opportunities for circularity, and map out some simple transition actions. Feedback and ideas shared will help inform current redevelopments planned for the local area. 
  
• How is the event structured? The event is a 90 minute workshop with refreshments (food and drinks) and a chance to meet your local hospitality peers and share ideas. 
  
• Who should register? Local hospitality traders in the Social Innovation Precinct area in Carlton and the CBD. Traders can be from any area of hospitality i.e. cafes, restaurants, bars, fast food service, nightclubs.
