Parent Information Session: The Social Media Ban & Keeping Your Kids Safe Online

Social media and screen time are some of the biggest challenges families are facing today. With the social media ban for under-16s starting on 10 December 2025, many parents still have no idea what’s coming or how it will impact your family. This session is designed to give you the information and tools you need to confidently support your kids through this change by unpacking what the social media ban is, why it’s being introduced, and how it’s going to work.

What You'll Learn:

  • A clear understanding of the social media ban: what it is, how it will be implemented, and what it means for the young people you support.

  • Practical strategies for guiding young people through the social media ban.

  • Ideas and tools for helping young people to foster healthy technology habits.
