Join our Social Walks leader Adam for another spectacular sunrise walk with beautiful coastline views along wonderful Brighton through to Hampton. This early morning stroll to watch the sun come up is the PERFECT way to start your day with the Social Walks Crew. The Melbourne Bay Trail is a beautiful part of Port Phillip Bay and we'll be strolling along the coast starting at Brighton Beach heading towards Hampton as we watch the sun rise over Port Phillip Bay.

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Melbourne's Bay Trail is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to wake up while hanging with some cool people.

This trail is roughly 6km long return trail and spans a beautiful section of the Port Phillip Bay coastline.

With beach views along the entire trail, an easy difficulty, and in one of the greatest spots in Melbourne to catch a sunrise - How could you say no?

We will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Brighton Beach Carpark (Paid Parking).

MEETING TIME: Arrive 5:50am for a 6:00am SHARP departure to catch the sunrise.

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6am may be left behind.

PARKING: There is paid parking in the Brighton Beach Carpark.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Morning Snack food for the hike

- Money for coffee at the café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around an 1.5 to 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
