Join our Social Walks leader Adam for a spectacular SUNSET walk with beautiful coastline views along wonderful Brighton through to Hampton. This evening stroll to watch the sun go down over Melbourne City is the PERFECT way to end your Thursday with the Social Walks Crew.

The Melbourne Bay Trail is a beautiful part of Port Phillip Bay and we'll be strolling along the coast starting at Brighton Beach heading towards Hampton before turning onto the track at Sandringham Yacht Club which takes you out across the water and provides amazing views of the City with the sun setting behind it.

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Melbourne's Bay Trail is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to farewell the day while hanging with some cool people.

This trail is roughly 6km long return trail and spans a beautiful section of the Port Phillip Bay coastline.

With beach views along the entire trail, an easy difficulty, and in one of the greatest spots in Melbourne to catch a sunset - How could you say no?

We will aim to finish the walk around 9:00pm Where we will head to the Brighton Beach Hotel for a celebratory drink.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Brighton Beach Carpark

MEETING TIME: Arrive 6.50pm for a 7:00pm SHARP departure to catch the sunset.

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6.50pm may be left behind.

PARKING: There is paid parking in the Brighton Beach Carpark.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Snack food for the walk

- Money for coffee at the café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around 1.5 - 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
