Soft Listening
Description
Soft Listening reimagines contemporary print publications as a live literary soundscape inside Tender Place.
Curated readings from Soft Stir and a selection of independent publishers will unfold alongside live responses from musicians and DJs, weaving texts together into a meditative, sensory-rich encounter with print publishing.
Through shifting pairings of sound, voice and scent, Soft Listening invites guests to slow down, get comfy and listen closely as unexpected threads emerge between each story.

Tender offers an architecturally designed, acoustically treated space fitted with a pair of Pitt & Giblin speakers that feature in its Deep Listening sessions and yoga classes. Alongside yoga and music-adjacent events, Tender hosts workshops, exhibitions, film screenings and other community and arts-focused events.
