About the Presentation: Participants will learn how to assess, treat and teach self-treatment to people with soft tissue concerns related to cancer treatments such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and body dysmorphia.
What to bring: Bring massage tables, soft silicone cups, emollient of choice and two large hand towels to participate in the hands-on portion.
About the presenter: I am a graduate of Ashmead School of Massage, and have been practicing in Washington State since 2004. Since 2016, I have taught cupping as a science-informed massage modality. I have supported people living with cancer as a bodywork professional since 2018 with a focus on breast cancer. I believe we collaborate meaningful care experiences with our clients in safe and respectful environment.
Please note that refunds are available online up to 1 day before the event at 95% of original cost. This is to cover our fees. You can also choose to take a 100% credit to use for another Presentation, but need to contact NCMC to set up.
