Soften & Flow Mooloolaba
Description
Soften and Flow
Spend your Sunday in presence & embodiment.
This is a 90 minute somatic movement workshop for inspired dancers and busy professionals wanting to move from stiffness and pain to greater mobility and confidence in their bodies.
Create space on Sunday November 8th to slow down, reconnect with yourself and set the tone for the week ahead.
We’ll explore the journey from contraction into expansion through movement pathways and ideas that encourage softening, flow and freedom, gradually moving from deeper internal awareness into more expansive and expressive movement.
What We’ll Explore
Somatic movement, breath & guided meditation
Softening into the body and developing deeper awareness
Joint circling, spirals, waves, curves, bouncing & shaking
Gravity, suspension, contraction & expansion
Qigong-inspired energetic movement
Pelvic, spinal, neck & shoulder mobility
Fascia, nervous system & vagal pathways
Mindset, emotional awareness & habitual movement patterns
Improvisation, natural rhythm & flow
What May Shift
You may experience:
Greater ease and mobility in your body
Awareness of habitual patterns of tension and holding
More confidence, freedom and ease in your movement
New pathways and ways of moving
Greater access to your natural rhythm and creative expression

About your Facilitator:
Jasmine is a contemporary dancer with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, an internationally certified Reformer Pilates instructor, and a qualified Level 1 and Level 2 Energy Medicine Facilitator. With over 15 years of experience across dance, movement and embodied practices, her work explores the relationship between the body, awareness and creative life force.
Through contemporary dance, Pilates, somatic movement, breath, meditation and energy medicine, Jasmine creates spaces for people to slow down, tune in and reconnect with themselves from the inside out.
Her approach brings together structure and freedom, guiding people to explore their body's natural rhythms, cultivate greater awareness and discover new possibilities in movement.
Jasmine sees movement as a way of listening, expressing and coming home to yourself, cultivating a deeper sense of connection, ease, freedom and joy in the body.
Alongside her movement practice, Jasmine is a sound healing practitioner working with quartz crystal singing bowls to facilitate individual and group sound and energy healing experiences. She also delivers educational workshops for university students and the wider community, exploring the benefits of meditation, mindful movement and sound as accessible pathways to greater awareness, wellbeing and self-connection.
Outside of her work, Jasmine loves sunshine, beach days and spending quality time with family and friends. She is delighted to be back in Mooloolaba, reconnecting with the coastal lifestyle and community that make this place so special.
