Description

For decades, conventional gardening practices, digging, over-fertilising, and chemical use, have depleted the living biology of our soils. In this workshop, soil regeneration specialist, horticulturalist and author Craig Castree will show you how we got here and, more importantly, how to turn things around using the regenerative methods he practices every day.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to revitalise an existing garden, Craig will walk you through the key principles of soil health. These are the methods he uses to grow nutrient-dense, chemical-free food in everyday backyards, and he'll show you exactly how to apply them in your own RegenEdible garden.

This event is a Satellite event for the WA Food Policy Forum 2026, brought to you by Sustain, in partnership with Minderoo Foundation, Perth NRM, Regen WA, Serpentine Jarrahdale Food & Farm Alliance Inc, University of Western Australia, Perth City Farm, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
