Soils, Pests & Predators Workshop

This workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced growers.

You will learn about what makes good soil, how to test your soil quality and how to improve it over time.

You will also learn how to identify pests and diseases and how to control them naturally.

Fertilising the garden naturally will also be covered - when to do it and how.

The cost of the workshop is to reduce the incidence of no-shows on the day. If the cost of the workshop is an issue for you please email: environment@cessnock.nsw.gov.au as we do not want the cost to prevent anyone from attending.

Morning tea will be included.

Please bring along your own water bottle, a chair, enclosed footwear and a hat. This workshop will include both theory and a hands-on session in the garden.
