Curious about artist residencies?

Artist residencies provide artists with space, time, mentorship, and resources outside the realm of their daily lives. A new environment can become a vital catalyst for change, and residencies can often result in a deep richness of experience and extraordinary new directions for an artist’s work. We invite art lovers, emerging and established artists, and students to attend a panel discussion and learn more.

Join a conversation facilitated by the Gallery's Astrid Reed, with CEO of Bundanon Rachel Kent, and exhibiting artists Mei Zhao and Lisa Sammut. Find out more about the legacy of Arthur Boyd in his support for artists through residency programs at Bundanon. Hear from artists Lisa Sammut and Mei Zhao about the vital importance of recent residency experiences to the development of their work.
