We’re back for our 3rd edition of Solace Groove - dedicated to First Nations sovereignty, solidarity and resistance.

We believe that community, culture and resistance belong on the dancefloor. Every ticket is a contribution to First Nations-led struggles for justice, sovereignty and self-determination. Every dollar raised goes towards organisations doing the work on the ground.

There’ll also be a raffle packed with prizes from local legends who are putting their resources behind the cause.

Come for the music. Stay for the community. Leave having contributed to the cause.

This event raises funds for three First Nations-led Charities:

☀️Just Futures Colab - a giving circle activating resources for climate justice. They support projects that safeguard the environment, protect the oceans and build community resilience in the face of climate change.

☀️Childrens Ground - an organisation working to create a better future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities through culturally grounded education, health, wellbeing and employment programs.

☀️Pay the Rent - a grassroots collective bringing First Nations and non-Indigenous people together to recognise Aboriginal sovereignty and address the ongoing impacts of colonisation through meaningful financial restitution.

We gather on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, who have cared for these lands since time immemorial.

We pay respect to Elders past and present, and recognise the ongoing resistance of First Nations peoples against colonialism, dispossession and state violence.

Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

We stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples everywhere resisting colonialism, fighting for liberation and building futures on their own terms.
